The venue
A three-hundred-year-old Cape Dutch manor house hidden behind Kloof Street, with lawns, water features and Table Mountain standing over the whole thing.
You don't have to drive to the Winelands for a wine-farm wedding — Welgemeend has the oaks, the gables and the gardens, ten minutes from the middle of town. The ceremony is outdoors on the lawn, and dinner is under the vine-covered patio.
